Patricia Faust has a Masters in Gerontological Studies from Miami University in Oxford Ohio; is certified in clinical aromatherapy, brain health coaching, and neuroscience and wellness. Her depth of knowledge of the aging brain, brain health and brain function are reflected in numerous speaking engagements, coaching, and consulting for both corporations and individuals. Patricia’s speaking experience spans local and regional meetings for financial advisors on the topic of Diminished Capacity and the challenge of frauds and scams being a threat to their clients. Nationally she has been a featured speaker at meetings of global talent managers interested in Neuroscience and Talent Management. She was honored to be the Scholar on Campus at Menorah Park, Beachwood Ohio in Spring 2017. Her library of presentations looking at all aspects of brain aging, brain health, and function have been enthusiastically received at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of the University of Cincinnati, as well as, numerous other venues throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.
As a certified clinical aromatherapist, Patricia has had the opportunity of working at the TriHealth Integrative Center seeing private clients, as well as, setting up aromatherapy programs at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Hospice of Cincinnati locations. Over the years she has been active within the long-term care arena implementing essential oils as a modality to diffuse agitation and aggressive behavior of residents with dementia.
Patricia’s blog – My Boomer Brain – has international followers. She is also a featured writer for Luminous Wisdom: Sophia, an international online magazine for women. She has had local media exposure: repeated interviews on Cincy Lifestyle with Clyde Gray and Mona Morrow. Numerous interviews on many aspects of the aging brain and brain function with Anne Fredrickson of WMKV radio. Patricia is the brain health expert for Kuel Life, an online site focusing on issues of mid-life women. She was featured on a Kuel Life podcast with Jacqueline Perez, founder of Kuel Life, as well as, Hanh Brown of boomerliving.tv. Her articles on brain health have appeared locally in the Cincinnati Enquirer, as well as, nationally and internationally through online media sources.
